Ancient Rome: The Colosseum Inauguration
Date: 80 AD
Today, I witnessed the grandeur of Rome at its peak. The inauguration of the Colosseum was a spectacle unlike anything I've seen in my travels. The roar of the crowd, the gleaming marble, and the sheer scale of the amphitheater left me in awe. Emperor Titus spared no expense in this celebration, with gladiatorial combats and exotic animal hunts that lasted for days. As I stood among the spectators, I couldn't help but feel the weight of history in the making.

I've managed to secure a position as an apprentice in Leonardo da Vinci's workshop. The master is currently engrossed in his work on The Last Supper, and the atmosphere here is electric with creativity.
